We select the material taking into account the temperature of the storage of these products, as well as the characteristics of the products themselves so that the packaging has low gas and vapor permeability, is resistant to refrigerants and mechanical damage. Pearly and metalized polypropylene is suitable for ice cream; the dough is packed in a two-layer composite of polypropylene with polyethylene; poultry and fish require a combination of PET with polyethylene or polyethylene itself with the addition of appropriate components; vegetables and fruits can be packed in polyethylene.
